Nine Months!

Nine months?! No way has it been NINE months!! Oh my baby is growing so fast.... I just keep enjoying each new milestone, and holding on to every moment... Life is precious.

 
In the ninth month I have...
 
 
Been wearing Babylegs non-stop.
Momma is convinced they will help me start crawling, but I'm just holding out on her.
 
Had my first New Years.
Momma said I started the year off right by sleeping 12 hours in a row. I have continued to sleep 10-12 hours a night for the most part. Momma seems quite happy about that.
 
Re-met my Grandpa Floyd (Gman). He lives in Fairbanks and I haven't seen him since I was first born...So I didn't remember him very well.
 
I tend to still miss my bus at nap time if my Momma isn't paying attention.
 
Finally got to bump up snap sizes on my BumGenius diapers.
 
Started wearing 9 month old clothes, but am about to outgrow those. Yippee!
 
Tried feeding myself for the first time. Was a bit of a struggle, but by my 9 month birthday started eating sweet potato puffs all by myself! Oh and bananas and apples!
 
Started reaching for my bink and putting it in my mouth.
 
Started making M sounds which Momma likes a lot!
 
Become a pro-straw-drinker.
 
"Stood" up on my own at the coffee table.
Only once and no one was looking, but I did it!
 
Check it out...I have done a LOT this month! I feel WELL accomplished, and proud of my Momma for getting this up only two days late.

 On the morning of Thursday, September 16, 2021 I woke up eagerly to get ready for our co-op with Classical Conversations. However, I noticed I was having contractions that seemed to be rhythmic. I decided to download a timing app and noticed them coming every 5 minutes or so for the next hour. I began to wonder if I was going into labor. I was so excited I messaged my co-op director that we wouldn't be going to CC that day because I thought I might possibly be in labor. I didn't want to make the drive 25 minute drive and then have to immediately come home. I also messaged my friend who was planning to shoot the birth. I messaged her giving her the heads up that I thought I was in labor, but wasn't positive, and didn't want to declare anything quite yet. This is very normal for me. 24 Months!

Here we are with the bear again... 24 months, aka 2 years old, aka the testing of my character begins... Sure glad I have the Holy Spirit to guide me... I am talking, running, jumping all over the place.  I went to Hawaii with my family and had a blast at the beach playing in the sand and water. I love "kicking the ball!" with Papa. I started calling Momma, Mommy, but Papa is still Papa. I love animals especially my cat, Peng! I am going potty on the potty consistently. Just don't go anywhere without my little potty. I am still wetting the bed at night, but we are working on that one. I love playing at the park, and going down the slide is my favorite. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and being silly. My hair is getting very long and Momma is trying to get me to sit still to make it look fancy. My favorite show is Baby Einstein (when Papa will let me watch it). Ten Months!

Oh my, only a couple more months and my babe will be ONE YEAR!! Ahhhhh. But for now, I will enjoy these next couple of months.   This month has been a BIG month for me. DOUBLE DIGITS!   In the tenth month I have...   Whistled. I'm quick and keep Momma on her feet. She never knows when I'm going to do it, that way she can't get it on tape. ;)   Started clapping my hands. If you do a good job, don't worry I will clap for you. I also like to clap when music is playing.   Become a "pro" waver.   We left on my 10 month birthday for Seattle and I walked Papa to the door. Before he closed the front door and had the chance to say goodbye, I waved him off.   Learned to turn on my butt in circles. (It's my nice way of saying I don't want to listen to you... Everyone just thinks it's a new trick though.)   BIGGEST accomplishment of ALL... I have officially started crawling. Momma and Papa (and everyone else!)...
