Four months!

Oh man, my doll-face is already 1/3 of her way to a year! Please slow down, Haven...
 
 
 
 
 
So Momma forgot to include a few things that happened last month, and I'm too little to proofread yet, so I missed them too... Continuation of what happened in my third month...
 
 
I started to enjoy kicking a lot
(Papa thinks pro ball is in my future)
 
I no longer need assistance in holding my head
 
I rolled over for the first time at my Uncle and Auntie's house
 
I have become quite the belcher...
No help needed for burping here...
I just unlatch myself and let em rip!
 
 
 
 
Now on to what happened THIS month...
In the fourth month I have...
 
Met my Great-Grammy from Kansas
I started grabbing my toys...
 
I especially LOVE my Sophie the Giraffe
 
I like to stick out my tongue and do raspberries
 
Put your hand on my mouth and I'll sound like
Tiger Lilly from Peter Pan
 
Papa got me to laugh for the very first time
 (only once though...I'm going to continue to pretend that I'm not ticklish)
 
Want me to nap? Cover my eyes with something...If you don't, don't think for one second that I'm going to fall asleep
 
I recently noticed this thing walking around our home... It's a little smaller than me and looks funny. I like to stare at it though and touch it. It's very soft. It likes to lick my face and Momma freaks out. I kind of like this thing...
 
Papa had to go back to school this month...I miss him, but was able to dress up like him when we dropped him off for his first day
 
I'm starting to stand (with assistance)
 
Oh and I am a drooling, sucking maniac!
 
I've also been home a little more this month and was able to sit in my Bumbo. I LOVE it..Forget those chumps who are mad at you...But yeah, the company who makes Bumbo...you are good.

 On the morning of Thursday, September 16, 2021 I woke up eagerly to get ready for our co-op with Classical Conversations. However, I noticed I was having contractions that seemed to be rhythmic. I decided to download a timing app and noticed them coming every 5 minutes or so for the next hour. I began to wonder if I was going into labor. I was so excited I messaged my co-op director that we wouldn't be going to CC that day because I thought I might possibly be in labor. I didn't want to make the drive 25 minute drive and then have to immediately come home. I also messaged my friend who was planning to shoot the birth. I messaged her giving her the heads up that I thought I was in labor, but wasn't positive, and didn't want to declare anything quite yet. This is very normal for me. 24 Months!

Here we are with the bear again... 24 months, aka 2 years old, aka the testing of my character begins... Sure glad I have the Holy Spirit to guide me... I am talking, running, jumping all over the place.  I went to Hawaii with my family and had a blast at the beach playing in the sand and water. I love "kicking the ball!" with Papa. I started calling Momma, Mommy, but Papa is still Papa. I love animals especially my cat, Peng! I am going potty on the potty consistently. Just don't go anywhere without my little potty. I am still wetting the bed at night, but we are working on that one. I love playing at the park, and going down the slide is my favorite. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and being silly. My hair is getting very long and Momma is trying to get me to sit still to make it look fancy. My favorite show is Baby Einstein (when Papa will let me watch it). Ten Months!

Oh my, only a couple more months and my babe will be ONE YEAR!! Ahhhhh. But for now, I will enjoy these next couple of months.   This month has been a BIG month for me. DOUBLE DIGITS!   In the tenth month I have...   Whistled. I'm quick and keep Momma on her feet. She never knows when I'm going to do it, that way she can't get it on tape. ;)   Started clapping my hands. If you do a good job, don't worry I will clap for you. I also like to clap when music is playing.   Become a "pro" waver.   We left on my 10 month birthday for Seattle and I walked Papa to the door. Before he closed the front door and had the chance to say goodbye, I waved him off.   Learned to turn on my butt in circles. (It's my nice way of saying I don't want to listen to you... Everyone just thinks it's a new trick though.)   BIGGEST accomplishment of ALL... I have officially started crawling. Momma and Papa (and everyone else!)...
